The two have never been inducted into the Medical Fraternity by the Zambia Medical Association (ZMA) and do not appear in any Health Profession Council of Zambia (HPCZ) professional register as confirmed by HPCZ. The said report has the potential to bring the name of our profession into disrepute and further increase the verbal and physical abuse our members are being subjected to because of some of these erroneous reports.\nThe Association urges all journalists and media houses to report facts and not hearsay and to always strive to verify their stories before publication.
